Philip is a Solicitor with over 25 years of litigation experience. He joined Slater Heelis at a young age learning about many different aspects of working in a law firm before qualifying as a Legal Executive in 1998 and then, having gained a further 10 years experience Philip went on to qualify as a Solicitor in 2007.
Philip established Occasio Legal Limited in 2008.
His main areas of specialism include corporate/ personal insolvency, debt recovery, repossession actions on behalf of private landlords, advising in relation to Shareholder or Partnership Disputes and advising in respect of Consumer Credit and Regulated Credit Agreements.
Having advised Finance Houses and other financial institutions for many years and having also spent some time working in-house in a Finance & Leasing Company advising them specifically on their debt recovery issues, Philip has an in-depth knowledge and vast experience in this sector. He understands that whilst some recoveries work can be carried out in a processed manner to achieve fast, cost effective results, other matters require a more bespoke service which only someone with his experience can offer.
His client base consists primarily of Finance Houses and Finance & Leasing Companies but also includes private individuals, Company Directors and private landlords.
